My name is Marin Acuff. I was born in Goose Creek, SC and currently live in Lexington, SC. I graduated from White Knoll High School in 2008 with a focus in the Arts and Humanities: Visual Arts department. Following high school, I attended Midlands Tech where my major was Arts and Sciences and transferred schools after two years. I am now at the Univesity of South Carolina where I am working towards a BFA in Art Education.
As far as my career goes, I would love to be an elementary school art teacher. Eventually, I would love to go back to school and get a Master's in either Art Therapy or Psychology. I have always loved the concept of how the brain works, and I feel that it would better help me understand how my students - and humans in general - work.
